"The Famous Five" by Mike

One of my favourite memories growing up with Michele was the "Famous Five" ... more likely called the "Infamous Five" by our surrounding suburbs in Adelaide at the time! Along with our 3 friends from up the street (Andrew, Christine & their sister), we would roam the suburbs, the boys on their scooters & the girls on their bikes, looking for adventure! And somehow we found it (more likely, we created it!) And Michele was usually the one who would "discover" it. It was she who found the famous "Haunted House" (aka HH) and "Mystery Mansion" (aka MM), and the many adventures we had as we investigated them, looking for mysteries to solve. For Michele, life was full of adventures waiting to be found! Thankfully, somehow, we survived many close calls with all sorts of "baddies" (generally people just doing their thing), and managed to grow into the amazingly responsible adults we became (cough, cough) ... and I owe so much of that to my big sister, Michele!
