We are the proud parents of a beautiful young woman who loved God, people and life with a passion and joy.

Our beautiful daughter, Michele's, eternal light shone brilliantly only too briefly on this earth, from 8am 1/3/1964 to 8pm 30/5/2009, but where her precious light shone it brought genuine love, compassion, encouragement, and joy - always salted with a large dose of humour - to the lives of those it touched. The children she taught knew they were loved, to her friends and family she was loyal, and others she treated with empathy and integrity. Our precious darling gave selflessly of herself encouraging and inspiring others to be the best person they can be, this was another passion she had.

As Michele's parents we are so honoured and thankful for such a loving daughter whose life had more facets and brilliance than the most beautiful diamond. We, together with hundreds of others will miss her light shining in our midst, but nevertheless will know that we have been touched in a special way by that light. Earth's loss is heaven's gain! Au revoir sweetheart - a promise made, a promise kept, a promise celebrated - we will meet again.
